The year 2015 was an exciting year in pop culture (check out some of my favorite moments/discoveries here). Now it’s time to focus on what this year will hold. From realistic goals to wishful thinking, here’s my fandom bucket list/wish list for 2016.
- Visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in LA.
- Attend a Supernatural convention and get my picture taken with Sam and Dean. I might even bring the life-sized Dean standee from my office.
- Sit in the Millennium Falcon, preferably with Harrison Ford – but I would settle for Chewbacca.
- Have dinner with Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen). But I don’t want to be the main course.
- Get into the Orphan Black or Jessica Jones panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
- Cosplay Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road. Alternatively, Jessica Jones or Harley Quinn from her days in Arkham. BB-8 seems too uncomfortable.
- Catch these new shows: Shadowhunters, Legends of Tomorrow, X-Files, Luke Cage (Netflix), Game of Thrones (I’m dying to find out what happens to Jon Snow next season), and the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
- See Caroline and Klaus finally get together, either on The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, or a crossover. I’ve been waiting forever for the ultimate Klaroline moment.
What’s on your fandom bucket list for 2016?
