I don’t know about you, but I hate having my picture taken. This wouldn’t be a a problem if I could persuade Little, Brown to sketch a little picture of me for the inside flap of UNBREAKABLE (the first book in my new series, The Legion coming fall 2013). Since that idea didn’t fly, I needed new author photos — FAST. Enter Vania of VLC Photo, who somehow manages to make me look 100x better whenever she takes my picture. (I think she’s a Caster). Vintage prom was the theme, and my 5 year old daughter picked two out of the three dresses (the pink ones). Vania sent me the photos from the shoot and instead of hating every picture, I liked three of them…

But I really like the “Pink Prom” and the “Purple Prom”
