But this was my favorite quote from the article by Elizabeth Byrd, although it doesn't mention who said it:

Hmm… It sounds like a compliment to me. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is one of my favorite books, and one that made Savannah, GA so famous that they give MGGE tours. Not to mention the writing. And Libba Bray – what's not to love about her books?

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil looks really good–I’ll have to check it out! The cover kind of reminds me of Muchelle Zink’s Prophecy of the Sisters with the stone statue.
It’s a great book, and the statue was an actual statue on Bonaventure Cemetery, in Savannah. They moved it to a museum in SV after the book came out because there were so many tourists.
I’ve always loved the cover of Midnight. So lovely and evocative.
