I’m excited to share one of my new favorite YA reads with you, Dead Set, the first YA novel from New York Times bestselling author Richard Kadrey. Richard’s urban fantasy series, Sandman Slim, is one of my favorite adult series of all time. A hit man for the devil? What could be better than that?

Now Richard has finally come out with a dark YA urban fantasy. I read it while he was writing it (and he read Unbreakable for me), and I immediately begged to blurb the book. It has a dark fairy-tale/underworld feel that I love. The title, Dead Set, is a reference to a music set that you definitely want to know more about.
